This piece was my first real attempt at photorealism. The original image was taken by my mother-in-law and as soon as i saw it, I fell in love with the image. The clarity, the detail, the challenge. The working title for this piece. starting in June 2019, was “spaghetti jigsaw”, which to me, was fitting with the complication of the composition.
It was completed June 2020.
