Circles in the Sand

Isn’t it amazing how kids can sit for long periods in positions that would have us adults almost hospitalised when we would try to stand back up. That’s what went through my head as I watched my son playing in the sand, drawing circles with his fingers in the warm sand, the shapes remaining as the sand was still slightly damp, even though it was a scorching day – and ages since the tide went out. The shape of his body echoed the shapes he was drawing. I can remember doing the same when I was little. Circles of life.
Description
This artwork is unframed. Personally when I display these small works on tiles my preference is to place them on a shelf or picture rail. Customers have in the past who wish to wall mount have got similar pieces set into a plain box frame, or have added hanging attachments onto the back using an epoxy adhesive.
