Anecdotes is Nua Collective’s seasonal art publication—a space to pause, reflect, and engage with the ideas shaping contemporary artistic practice.
Issue 04 explores the connections between place, memory, materials and creative discovery. Through essays, artworks and personal reflections, contributors consider the shifting meanings of familiar objects, the joy of experimentation, the vulnerability of landscapes, and the ways art finds its place in everyday life.
From painting and installation to photography, printmaking and songwriting, this edition invites readers behind the finished work to discover the experiences, unexpected encounters and quiet revelations that shape it.
Featuring contributions from Charys Wilson, Shunshun Qi, Lucy Lambe, Eamonn B Shanahan, Deirdre Burke, Josh Stein, Katrīna Tračuma, Angelina Cebotari, Kaili Woop, Debbie Hickey, Mark Firehammer and Rupali Kumbhani.
