When looking in the theme of equinox I came across the Celtic tales of Brigid.  Imbolc is the story of the goddess stirring, the equinox was the emerging of her and with it spring. The tides around where I live have been changing and the winds changing, there’s an emerging in the air with the season.

On my daily walks I see a kingfisher that hunts in the long hole harbour. I look so hard to find him when he’s perched. Then the brilliant flash of electric blue as he dives has fuelled the palette with the mix of the stirring waters of the lough.
