This is the painting of an old windmill in Spain I used to visit as a child during the Summer holidays while vacationing in my grandparents village. Every time I went up the hill to see the old windmill, I couldn’t help but imagine the sails turning with the wind. 

This representation is my imaginative interpretation of the windmill using a spicy, warm palette and an imagined composition with the broken sail flying free with the wind like an old flag.
