Nua Collective is delighted to announce the release of Issue 03 of Anecdotes, the latest edition of its seasonal contemporary art publication. Expanding to 64 pages, the Summer 2026 issue brings together artists from across disciplines to share the ideas, experiences and creative processes that shape their work.
Unlike traditional exhibition catalogues, Anecdotes offers readers a chance to step behind finished artworks and into the studios, sketchbooks and thought processes of the artists themselves. Through essays, reflections and visual documentation, each contributor reveals the personal journeys, research and questions that continue to inform their practice.
This latest issue explores a broad range of contemporary themes including artistic truth, creative process, accessibility, memory, empathy, landscape, performance, community and the evolving role of art in everyday life. Together, these voices create a publication that is as much about asking questions as it is about presenting answers.

Collectively, the publication demonstrates how contemporary artists continue to respond to changing social, cultural and personal landscapes while remaining committed to experimentation, dialogue and critical thinking.
Continuing the Conversation
Since its launch, Anecdotes has become an important platform within Nua Collective’s publishing programme, creating space for artists to share ideas in greater depth than is often possible through exhibitions or social media alone. By combining long-form writing with carefully considered visual presentation, the publication encourages readers to slow down and engage more deeply with contemporary art.
With each issue, Anecdotes continues to build an international community of artists and readers connected through curiosity, generosity and creative exchange.
