Though only yesterday evening whilst recording my voice reading this poem for the very first time, it all came to me … The understanding of why I have felt called to frame this moment, to go hunting for this light … I finally grasped what this quest means to me now, three years after … It speaks to me today, as it tried to do back then, of the acceptance of change, of its light, and of its shadow, in that delicate exercise of balance, that is life.
